Trump’s Attempts to Overturn the Election Are Unparalleled in U.S. History

President Trump’s strategy has become clear over two days of increasingly frenetic action by an executive who is weeks away from losing power

The president’s push to prevent states from certifying electors and get legislators to override voters’ choice eclipses even the bitter 1876 election as an audacious use of brute political force.

Poster Comment:

The outcome of the election has not been decided. The news of the servers in Germany counting votes in America has not been told to the public. Trump will have to tell the truth at rallies.

He must start a campaign or have someone like Giuliani start a campaign to remove the FCC license for every radio and TV broadcast station owned by ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX.

By not telling the truth, the media is setting America up for a Civil War. Their lies will get people killed.

The nature and scope of the fraud is also unparalleled in US history.

"Overturn the Election" is a biased term, as if Trump wins in his efforts via the courts, the election has not been "overturned" at all.

The election was outright stolen. Trump won.

Prosecute the offenders, top to bottom, wherever they are.

Damn the torpedoes, let's get on with it.

I really don't care to "die safe and in peace" in Central America while there is a legitimate President in the WH that was sorely abused and is saying he will fight to the end and take it all down.

How about you, Neil?

For four long years we have heard the constant drumbeat about the past democrat governments. Where did all of that go? Why total silence?

Was there little or nothing there, or does Trump not dare bring out the findings of Barr and Durham? Has a year of "investigation" found nothing?

If Trump for whatever reason, goes quietly into the night, and Biden becomes president, I will feel that I have been swindeled for four long years.

If that does indeed turn out to be the case, which could be 50/50 imo (meffing Zios), take comfort that for $9.99/mo you can "keep the revolution alive" to "take back america" at TrumpTV.commie?

If Trump goes quietly into the night, I personally will KNOW I or all of us have been betrayed.

Draining the swamp and jailing Clinton were calls for action, Americans responded. What did we get???? NOTHING. People begged Trump to open the FBI files...what did we get? Nothing. Not one person went to jail.

Where has that all gone??? Forgotten, move on.

THE SWAMP HAS WON AND TRUMP WILL GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT.

If this black-box fraud is not exposed and destroyed, there's no use even having another charade of an election.

I know how you feel. This would be much less frustrating for me if I could get a handle on the insanity of TDS. Maybe I'm looking for logic in a place where there is none. It seems that Russia is doing better now that the USSR is gone, but I don't see how we're going to be better off becoming the USSA.

I hear Putin offered free land to anyone that wants to move there. The only catch is you need $100,000 stake to get started. But I also heard 150 Boer farmers took him up on that offer. ;)

That's affirm on "having another charade of an election."

I miss the good 'ol days when there were only 2 genders and 2+2=4.

The black-box fraud HAS been exposed. Destroying it is another thing.

The Marianas Trench isn't the deepest place on Earth anymore. The Swamp is.

From my reading during the Bat Stew Flu lockdowns, this has been a long time coming, it didn't JUST happen. How did we all miss it?

I remember railing against the push to make shit like homosexuality "natural, normal, and healthy" years ago. Look at us now.

Proud much?

Trump will go quietly into the night and the swamp will laugh him out of town.

Trump has not prosecuted one person, not one, from the swamp.

The cry already is "Trump in "04". Is that for real?

I think Trump did OK, Cyni. For 4 straight years, he's had 165 million+ folks attacking him without a break.

Even God took one day off a week.

Trump's got nothing to be ashamed of. He's certainly a better man than I ever was.

We may have this to look forward to:

In my near 90 years, Trump has done more for this country than any other President in my time.

However, he failed to jail those that have replaced him, leaving the masses to suffer the consequences.

WHY?????? Why did he NOT clean house? WHY did no one go to jail?

Mine too, Dad. I guess Reagan came in a close second. I guess there might be something to the numerology, Reagan 40, Trump 45.

Why did he NOT clean house? WHY did no one go to jail?

He was just one man standing opposed. You need to pick the fights worth fighting, not picking up dead birds trying to breathe life into them.

Your lust for justice and fairness is getting the best of you OM.

Trump did OK.

The swamp is ugly, dark and deep
And Trump has promises to keep
And miles to go before he sleeps.

Damn, that seems oddly familiar.

Trump promised all of us that he would drain the swamp, if we voted for him.

Not one person went to jail, not one.

Now the swamp is back in charge, deeper than ever. All Trump needs to do is open the FBI and DOJ files, but he will not. Why?

Trump will go quietly into the night, this country will sink into the depths of socialism or worse.

Why?

You're old enough and smart enough to know exactly what is happening here.

Don't play dumb. It works OK when you're 25 and trying to pick up gals, but at our age, folks just think you're dumb or have Alzheimer's.

(Edit) Sorry, Cyni, I just remembered that I spent a good portion of my adult life pretending to be a Hoosier Hayseed. It's very disarming to an opponent. Another good one is to pretend that you're NOT language-capable.

The killshot there is to let them supply their own (only) translator. They have to have fallen for the stupid routine first. Cyka blyatt!

Somehow, I'd say the words "Trump" and "quietly into the night" should never appear in the same sentence. Ever. And I'm serious.

Trump's many characteristics include stubbornness. He's challenging the election results, or what appears to be the election results. If he loses the court fight then he will lose the presidency come January. Trump has no control over that, ultimately.

But in that scenario, what Trump DOES have control over is what he does next. He is still very, very weathy, and he does think strategically. Perhaps not as well as Putin does, but Putin is very shrewd.

Look for Trump to start working on the private side. He could start a new media company. I think there's a good chance of that. He could try to hire Tucker and Judge Jeanine out from under Fox, but it may be better to leave them there where they can voice some good on what's left of fox, and find some new talking heads that can make an impression.

He'll be lobbying in a big way for election reform -- you can count on that happening for sure. And even if he does have to turn the WH over to Biden, Trump may still get a second term. The R nomination would be his for the asking in 2024. He has only to ask for it.

Trump may leave the WH, but he's going away, not quietly into the night nor loudly during the day.
