Oreo Takes Pro-LGBT Stance In New Ad Spot
Its not even June yet and already corporations are signaling their allegiance to the progressive LGBT agenda.
The latest seemingly unaffiliated brand to come out in support of the cause is none other than Oreo Cookie, which has been owned by the multinational food and beverage conglomerate Mondelez International since 2012.
The marketing team at Oreo couldnt wait until Pride Month to put out a new commercial spot which featured a young man coming out as gay to his grandmother.
Coming out doesnt happen just once. Its a journey that needs love and courage every step of the way. Share our new film and let someone know youre their #LifelongAlly, the ads introduction says.

I gave up Oreo cookies. How can I boycott them?

There used to be a dairy farm on Waukegan Rd. north of Willow Rd. in Illinois. The cow manure would be spread on farm fields across the road.
When it closed, a new Kraft corporate HQ was built on that property. I used to drive right past there every day going to and from work at the state highway yard.
One winter I was driving home in my Blazer. Some woman had driven up on the center curb. I told her I would pull her off for $5. She agreed and I hooked up a chain to her car. I pulled her off. She tried to drive away and CHING, nothing doing.
I walked back up to her window. She handed me $10, and I kept it. I told her, "Don't move until I unhook the chain." If she had to get a tow truck out there it would have cost her $50. ;)

Last time I had Tang was at a neighbor friend's house in 1971 or '72 (on West Boulevard!). As I recall as a kid, it wasn't too bad. Maybe slightly better than Kool-Aid.
You are risking re-igniting the (Alleged) Moon Landing controversy here.

Me and some short electrician (size 7 shoes) woke up big man today. It was the first time for the electrician to get in a semi. Big equipment can be intimidating, like the first time I was in the France Stone quarry 40some years ago and had to approach a dump truck with a staircase on the front of it.
That experience served me well a couple years later.

Got rid of my last bottle of Roundup years ago; I'd rather live with weeds than die of cancer without them. My yard is ~60% weeds and only ~40% grass, but I won't put a herbicide on it -- the grandchildren play there.

I don't care. You see that thread I posted about an old gal and that "Elli-Q device? She's on the "troublesome list" now, I'm sure.
I just like the dance.
(Edit) I'm damned sorry I looked up that Elli-Q spybot. It knocked off all the Lilycloth.com ads with the old gals in their clever T-shirts on ZH. I was just looking at the sayings on the front of the model's shirts, honest. They have cool men's shirts too, but there's only so many hours in the day.

Put them on the table and forgot about them. Next morning I start my day with coffee, and opened the package. Pulled out one of them to have with my coffee and it tasted pretty amazing. Ate two more. Then looked at the front of the package. They were dog treats.
Cheaper than Oreos and probably a lot healthier. Went to target and bought 3 packages of them. Cashier asks me about my dogs as she has met one of them. She then says your dogs must love these. I said, My dogs dont eat cookies. She gives me this look, and I tell her, I dare you to eat one of these and tell me its a dog treat. She wasnt having it.
On April Fools day I went to my favorite coffee shop and gave a few of these cookies to people. Needless to say, the hardest part of my day was containing my laughter when I told them they were dog treats.

I mow about 3 acres of "grass" here in Upcountry South Carolina red clay. I have an aerator, but don't know where to get compost in large quantity (at acceptable cost). The compost we generate ourselves here is barely enough for our small garden.

Would an oz of .999 Canadian gold cover my part? If it's good enough for my mechanic it should be good enough for you. You'll have to resend your personal info, I try to sanitize that stuff weekly after the "secret agent" mishap with a former girlfriend bragging on FaceBook.
I could wire you the money, but I'm gonna need the same bank info that your benefactor in Africa does. Pin trusts me, I think. He can vouch for me. j/k

They were supposed to turn an old grocery store here in town into a Marijuana growing operation. They had State permits, but the city refused to give them a business license because of the churches and schools in town. And when you think it would be indoor operation that requires grow lights and hydroponics, plus provide much needed jobs in our depressed economy it simply boggles the mind. Everything produced there would have been shipped by armored truck too. CBD extracts are big business now. ;)

Brix measures the sugar content of your plants. A healthy plant resistant to disease and to pests has a Brix reading of 12 or more. Crops raised in greenhouses never score above 6. Plants need energy which they cannot get without both ultraviolet and infrared rays.
Dr Tom Dykstra said that in Africa plants with Brix readings of 12 and above were passed over by locusts.
This might be more than you want to hear I have a gardening blog. https://gsmgardening.wordpress.com/
