All this burning shit down, Keying Teslas and threatening to kill Trump and Elon Musk has my PTSD acting up and is really messing with my sleep patterns. These cocksuckers are going to end up with a war they can't win.

I did my fucking time in The Killin' Zone. This needs to stop.

Yeah all the guns might as well be stuffed animals for self-soothing.

The Chinese will eat bark, dogs, and rats. They don't shit themselves over not being able to buy cheap junk for a few years. Most importantly, they're not on the cusp of becoming a minority in their own country and don't have to cater to niggers and Jews. China outlasts the US EASILY.

Your outlook for the US seems to be not unlike that of "Tampon" Tim Walz.

Have you left the US like you talked about before? (Edit) I wasn't being a smartass, I'm just curious. You had some concerns about your son(s) being drafted as I recall, but I don't remember the timeframe.

FWIW, me and Kim are Boomers, 1961 and 1964, so close to the end of that era. I consider us more like what came after that (Gen X?), with our fatalistic outlooks. The Covid debacle didn't do Doc any good, that's for sure.

...the Euroweenies are down, of course, because they're dicqs.

Europe stocks close 3.7% higher for best session in three years as U.S. sell-off resumes [CNBC]

In other news: They're still dicqs.

Here's some local news...

I just got my property tax bills. UP 45% FROM LAST YEAR, with no improvements, thanks to Prez Pedo and his 30 million new MFing Wetbaxicans.

My 45+ y/o hovel is assessed at about five times what it's worth now. $200+ a sqft!

Shit. (Edit) And I was having such a good day. J/k, I'm sucking shit in Hell.

They have no idea what violence is, and when they do realize what it is, it will be too late.

Walz wants to make China fake and gay. He's an activist for muh human rights and muh democracy. He visits China not as a friend but an enemy.

Those distinctions are arbitrary, sometimes I wonder if they were created to further divide us. FWIW, as an "official" GenXer (b. 1965), I consider you a contemporary.

They are not arbitrary. Boomers and Silents grew up in a white country. Gen X started with one but have seen it lost at an earlier age. Gen Z and Gen Alpha whites are already a minority.

All also have wildly different exposures to media technologies at different ages.

Also IQ is dropping by about 0.6 points per decade.

Mangos are a tropical fruit, traditionally restricted to the central latitudes by shelf life. I tried one once, the huge pit in the center was a minor obstacle, but once I managed to hack a bite size hunks of flesh I was questioning why it has become so popular among woke trendfollowers that the question answers itself. About as exciting a flavor as canteloupe.

In Hoosier dialect, mango can also mean a green bell pepper. I remember discussing this with a friend in 7th or 8th grade.

I've thought I should have been an electrician or something.

I had an idea around 1986 or so that an opposed flat-4 mounted aft of a front-wheel-drive transaxle would result in a low center of gravity, more balanced handling with a large pert of vehicle weight right behind the front drive/steering axle, and a long hood so popular with the public and stylists not so long ago.

I'll never forget Rhonda. We were 10 or so, our parents were dating, so we all went up to Indiana Beach. I rode a lot of rides with Rhonda that day, and even faked nightblindness a little so I could hold on to her wispy little camisol as she led us out of the funhouse.

Yeah, I can appreciate that. I usually get $100/hr for advice to strangers when I feel like doing it. Friends are for drinks/hr. My rocket scientist mechanic Chip and crew gets at least $125/flat rate hour.

My buddy Skillethead with Raytheon called himself that. He was some crazy-high PhD-type electronic warfare (EW1) engineer. I was the only friend that had a high enough security clearance and knew enough about the shit that he could talk to.

I was also involved in the HMMWV program back in the day before they hit Bagdad or whatever. The fucking run-flat tires were $800/ea 40 years ago. Mounting the tires and donuts on the ATIS (automatic tire inflation system) rims was really something.

The stuff we always got was mostly macerated shrimp deep purple-pink color about 16th the salt content of the pacific per tablespoon. An eight-ounce jar would last six months, for a late-night snack catch the balut guy when he comes by. You can hear him coming four or five blocks off baaluuuuuut, baaluuuuuuuut. If you put your ear to a girl's inner thigh you can smell the ocean.
