My neighbor had his big ZTR out cutting the grass on the 3 lots, 40'x138.5', across Holley Ave. the other day.

I asked him why. He said his builder buddy, that built a couple houses on our street, to the west of me, on my side, bought the lots.

I couldn't help myself, "How much you getting paid?"

"$150 each time." ($300/hour). That's good money, if you can get it.

The kicker; Chris's daughter, ~24, and her boyfriend, might be buying one of the houses. She'll have a great neighbor, her father.

I talked to my sister up near Chicago, she's going under the knife to fix the fuckups from last time.

I dread that.

we.ve been playing dodge'ums with the rain. cut the two we were going to do yesterday and finished up a couple acres at the hangars. damned armadillos tearing up any june bug grubs they smell. a guy the other day asked if grubs were killing his grass, I said it's not grubs, if it was the armadillos would have been by. got soaked yesterday, on the plus side there was much less dust getting blown into my face when the discharge deflector is pointing ESE or basically any mowing south to north. the fire ants are returning, didn't have any noticeable hills for about five years due to the drought. cotton is knee high and over by odem the Sorghum is ready to harvest with some cotton in bloom.
